Open Access Policy

Iustitia Criminal Science provides immediate open access to its content, on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge and advances scholarship in criminal law and criminal justice.

As an open-access journal, all content — including Research Articles, Critical Legal Analyses, and Literature Reviews — is made available free of charge to readers. Users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full text of any article, or use it for any other lawful purpose, without prior registration and without requiring permission from the publisher or the author(s), subject to the terms of the license specified on the journal's Copyright and License page.

This open-access policy applies equally on the author's side: as stated in the journal's Publication Fee page, Iustitia Criminal Science does not charge authors any fee at any stage of the publication process, from submission through to publication. Open access to readers and free publication for authors are treated as complementary commitments of the journal.
