Societas Law Review does not charge any fees to authors at any stage of the publication process. From manuscript submission through peer review, editing, and final publication, authors incur no cost whatsoever.

The journal is committed to supporting the open and equitable dissemination of scholarship on law and its workings in society. Accordingly, the following stages are provided free of charge to all authors, regardless of nationality or institutional affiliation:

Review Fee

The double-blind peer review process is provided free of charge.
Editing and Formatting Fee
No charge
Copyediting, layout, and proofreading are covered by the journal.
Article Processing Charge (APC) and Publication Fee
No charge
There is no publication fee upon acceptance, and published articles incur no cost to the author(s).

Equal Treatment of Authors

This policy applies equally to all authors, whether affiliated with domestic or international institutions, and regardless of the number of authors on a manuscript. Societas Law Review does not require co-authorship across a specific number of institutions or countries as a condition of publication; acceptance is based solely on the scholarly merit of the manuscript, as evaluated through the journal’s double-blind peer review process.
