Articles published in Societas Law Review under the open access business model are funded by payments made by authors, their institutions, or funding bodies, commonly known as Article Processing Charges (APCs).

Open Access Publication

As an open-access publisher, whose model typically involves the upfront payment of an APC, we make each article immediately and freely available upon publication on the journal website, in perpetuity, under the license attached to it (see Copyright and License). Andalas Borneo Justice Publisher sets APC prices on a per-journal basis, with prices displayed on the journal homepages.

How APC Prices Are Set

APC prices are under regular review and are subject to change. We set APC prices based on the following criteria:

◆The journal’s editorial and technical processes;
◆Competitive considerations;
◆Market conditions;
◆Other revenue streams associated with the journal.
